Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment
of a portion of the expenses of the General Assembly, at its
January session, 1867.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Colton submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 19, after the word "dollars," insert the
words : and S. T. Herbert, one hundred dollars.

Which was adopted.
