The bill entitled an Act to create an additional tobacco
inspector, and to establish a new tobacco warehouse to be
known as Tobacco Warehouse No. 6, being on a second read-
ing,

Mr. Hall submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 3, after the word "Frederick," insert the
word Allegany.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Nicolai submitted the following amendment:

Section 1. Strike out all after the word "Governor," in
lines 2 and 3, to the word ''Carroll," in same line, inclusive.

Which was read.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,
The enacting clause of the bill was stricken out.

The bill entitled an Act to endow the St. Mary's Female
Seminary, having been read a third time,
