A bill entitled an Act to amend the 22d Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Worcester county, by adding
thereto the following sections, relating to the taxing of dogs
for the purpose of paying for sheep killed by them.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Agriculture.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of a select committee,
reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to protect the owners of cattle and
other stock from drovers and others in Worcester county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Clark, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the repairs of the pub-
lic roads in Howard county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Holloway, Chairman of a select committee, reported-
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to prevent the hauling of any seine or
seines over one hundred fathoms in length in the Sinepuxent
Bay, or any of the bays or their tributaries on the eastern,
side of Worcester county, above George's Island Landing.
