838 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 16,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 6, 9. 17 and 18, of
Article 55, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"State Librarian," and to re-enact the same with alterations.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corpora-
tions, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to build a
turnpike road from Sam's creek, at or near McKinstry's
Mills, in Carroll county, via Linwood, Western Maryland
Rail Road, through Uniontowri, to Taneytown, in said
county.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Oakland Mill-
and Annapolis Junction Turnpike Road Company.

Which was read a first time.

Also, a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Monrovia
and Hyattstown Turnpike Company,

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Marlboro and
Patuxent River Rail Road Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Howard Central
Turnpike Company.

Which was read n first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance
Company of Charles County.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4 and 5 of the
Act passed the 8th day of March, 1856, chapter 148. entitled
an Act to incorporate the Kent county Rail Road Company,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed
for a third reading.
