After the word citizen, line 4, section 2, insert the follow-
ing : Provided those text books shall contain nothing of a
-sectarian character.

Mr. Wentz submitted the following amendment:

Page 47, section 3, line 12, after "parents" add "unless
the parents or guardian of the hoy sooner appear, then said
boy shall be immediately released."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Conway submitted the following amendment :

Strike out all after the word "schools" in line 4, sec-
tion 3.

Page 48, line 9, chapter 8, strike out "is" and insert
