798 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 13,

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, submitted the following
order :

Ordered, That all the orders granting leaves of absence
this morning be, and they are hereby revoked.

Which was read.

Mr. Hall submitted the following amendment, to be added
at the end of the order :

But this order does not apply to the order granting leave of
absence to Mr. McCulloh.

Which was adopted.

The question then recurring upon the order, as amended,
Mr. Colton moved to lay the order on the table.
Decided in the negative.
The order, as amended, was then adopted.
On motion of Mr. Montague,

Leave was granted to a select committee consisting of
Messrs. Montague, Clark, Davis, of Carroll, and Dutrow, to
introduce a bill to add a further supplement to an Act enti-
tled an Act to incorporate companies to make several turn-
pike roads through Baltimore county, and for other pur-
poses, passed at the November session, 1804.

On motion of Mr. Latrohe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Public Buildings to
introduce a bill providing for the sale of part of the furniture
in the Government House, when the possession of said house
is transferred to the United States Government.

On motion of Mr. Biddison,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to report a bill to be entitled an Act to authorize the
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company to grant a water privi-
lege to Charles F. Wenner.

On motion of Mr. McElroy,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to repeal section 61, of Article 29, of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to holding of sessions of the
Criminal Court of Baltimore city on Saturdays.

On motion of Mr. Jones,

Leave was granted Messrs. Clark, Jones and Worthington,
to introduce a bill to repeal section 8, of Article 13, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Howard county, sub-title
County Commissioners, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
