NIGHT SESSION.

WEDNESDAY, March 11, 8 o'clock, P. M.
The House met.
Present at the call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Stewart, (Speaker,) Loker, Coad, Boyer, Beck,
Iglehart, Deale, Bond, of Calvert, Mitchell, Chapman, Sling-
luff, Montague, Poteet, Holmes, Biddison, Rose, Lowe,

Corbin, Horsey, Stewart, of Dorchester, Davis, of Cecil.,
Touchstone, Mearns, Guy, Williams, Legg, Albaugh, Du-
trow, Wenner, Bowlus, Byers, Silver, Nelson, Vandiver,
Moore, Sanner, Wentz, Robb, Morse, Blake, Latrobe, Pent-
land, Smith, of Baltimore city, Bond of Baltimore city,
Mullin, Chaisty, McElroy, Harig, Markland, Coudy,
Rohrer, Seihert, Conley, McCulloh, Kean, Trimble, Hall,
Jordan, Worthington, Harden, Clark, Jones—62.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, (the rules being suspended,)
submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it is the sense of this House that no motion
for adjournment will be considered at this present sitting
before 10^ o'clock, P. M.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Legg, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the fol-

lowing order:

Ordered, That all the members of the Select Committee on
the General Education bill be allowed to sit during this even-
ing's session, except four, who shall elect to remain in the
House, that a quorum may be present.

Which was adopted.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed

January session, 1866, entitled an Act to incorporate a com-
pany to build a turnpike road from Union Bridge, Carroll
county, to Unionville, Frederick county, and enact a substi-
tute therefor,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
