Mr. Harden submitted the following amendment:

Insert after the word "Baltimore," the word "Carroll."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Slingluff submitted the following amendment:

Amend by inserting, at the end of section 1, the words :
and all persons who shall either offer for sale, sell, or pur-
chase such game shall be liable to the same fine, to be col-
lected in the same manner, as for the offence of killing such
game.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Poteet submitted the following amendment:

Strike out at the end of first section the words " said
county," and insert the words " the respective counties."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Legg submitted the following amendment:

In fourth line after the word " turkey," insert unless
upon property owned by such person or persons.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, submitted the following
amendment:

Strike out the words " wild turkey," in the third line of
section first.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Coudy submitted the following amendment :

Strike out the enacting clause.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment:

Strike out " twenty," and insert five, in 7th line.

Pending the consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Worcester,

The bill, with pending amendment, was recommitted.

Mr. Herbert moved that the committee he enlarged by the
addition of one member from each county not represented
on said committee, and one from each legislative district of
the city of Baltimore.

Mr. Beck moved as a substitute, that the delegations from
Carroll and Baltimore counties be added to the committee.

The substitute was adopted.

The hill entitled an Act entitled a Supplement to the Act
passed by the General Assembly of Maryland, at January
session, 1864, chapter 96, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike Road Company, in
Frederick and Carroll counties,

Being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions.

The bill entitled an Act limiting the number of justices of
the peace and constables in Wicomico county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
