Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford
Counties Boom Company, passed at the January session,
1867, chapter 194, and to require said company to remove
certain and all obstructions placed by the said Company in
the Susquehanna river, in violation of their charter.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Jones, Chairman of a select committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to create an additional election dis-
trict in Howard county, to he styled the Sixth Election Dis-
trict of Howard county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Davis, of Cecil, Chairman of a select committee, re-
ported favorably,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of Cecil and Kent counties, to build a
bridge over Sassafras River from Fredericktown, in Cecil
county, to Georgetown in Kent county, and to levy a sum of
money for the same,

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Berlin,
in Worcester county.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The hill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Mid-
lothian Coal and Iron Company.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The joint resolution to repay to Henry P. Rose, and others,
the amounts paid respectively on receiving commissions as
constables, which commissions have been decided, by the
Court of Appeals, to be void,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed
for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Herbert,
The rules were suspended,

And the House proceeded to the consideration of the bills
entitled to a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to legalize " A supplement to the
Maryland Code containing the Acts of the General Assembly,
passed at the sessions of 1861, 1862, 1864, 1865, 1866 and
