the Western Maryland Rail Road Company,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of Article 41,
of the Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Fish and
Fisheries," and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time, and,

On motion of Mr. Legg,
Reconsidered,

Ordered to he printed and made the order of the day for
Tuesday, 17th March.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1, chapter 243, of
the Acts of 1867, entitled an Act to create a Board of Com-
missioners to keep open the harbor of Baltimore and the ac-
cess thereto, from obstructions by ice, and for river and har-
bor relief, and to enact the following in lieu thereof,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and

On motion of Mr. Robb,

Ordered to be printed, and made the order of the day for
Tuesday, March 17.

The bill entitled an Act to prevent cows and other cattle
from running at large within seven miles of the limits of Bal-
timore city,

Being on its second reading,

Mr. Montague submitted the following amendment:

Section 2, line 2, strike out the words "seven miles of the
limits of Baltimore city," and insert "one mile of the village
of Catonsville."

The amendment was adopted, and

The bill, as amended, was read a second time, and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.
