Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

Mr. Iglehart moved that the House do now adjourn until
to-morrow morning at eleven o'clock.

Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, moved that the House do
now adjourn until to-morrow morning at ten o'clock.

The question recurring upon the motion submitted by Mr.
Iglehart, it was decided in the affirmative, and

The House, at 10 3/4 o'clock P. M., adjourned until to-
morrow morning at eleven o'clock.

TUESDAY, March 10, 1868.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by Rev. Mr.
Hammond.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

of Cecil, Touchstone, Mearns, Keech, Guy, Williams, Sud-
ler, Legg, Smith, of Worcester, Albaugh, Dutrow, Wen-
ner, Byers, Silver, Nelson, Vandiver, Brown, Moore, Wentz,
Robb, Morse, Blake, Latrobe, Smith, of Baltimore city,
Bond, of Baltimore city, Colton, Mullin, Chaisty, McEl-
roy, Harig, Markland, Marshall, Conway, Coudy, Herbert,
Seibert, Riggs, Conley, Kean, Hall, Jordan, Worthington,
Harden, Clark, Jones, Fooks, Hopkins—67.

Mr. Deale presented the petition of Tomas J. Hall, E. E.
Tillard, and 45 others, against the removal of the Tobacco
Warehouses from Baltimore city to Canton.

Also,

Petition of Thomas J. Hall, Jr., V. E. Compton, and 46
others, against the removal of the Tobacco Warehouses
from Baltimore city to Canton.

Which were severally read and referred to the select com-
mittee on that subject.

Mr. Montague presented the petition of citizens of First
