Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the Circuit Court
for Washington county, and the manner and times of hold-
ing the terms thereof, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Endorsed, " passed by yeas and nays."

Also, the bill entitled an Act to repeal section 40 of Arti-
cle 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Frederick
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments, endorsed
''passed by yeas and nays."

On motion of Mr. Bowlus. (the rules being suspended,)
Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
report a supplement to an Act of January session, 1860, enti-
tled an Act to incorporate the Liberty and Frederick Turn-
pike Company, and its supplement, passed January session,
1867, chap. 230, and to empower said company to continue
the construction of said turnpike to the town of Liberty.

Mr. Wentz, Chairman of the Committee on Education,
(the rules being suspended,) reported favorably a bill enti-
tled all Act to increase the number of free scholarships in
the Baltimore Female College, and to change the manner of
appointing the beneficiaries and Board of Trustees ;

Which was read a first time and ordered to he printed.

The Speaker announced that the House had finished all
the business on the Speaker's desk.
