Ordered, That the use of this Hall be granted to the Band
of the House of Refuge, on Tuesday evening, March 10th,
and the members of both Houses of the General Assembly
of Md., and those they may invite, he admitted to the Hall
on that occasion, and none others.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that C. Smith
Keech is absent from his seat to-day on account of sickness.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Trimble,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill adding a new section to Article 10 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Attachment," giv-
ing Justices of the Peace power to issue attachments in cases
provided for in section 38 of said Article, where the sum
claimed does not exceed $100.

On motion of Mr. Biddison,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to in-
troduce a bill for the relief of Sarah Harper, widow of Jos.
Harper, soldier of the war of 1812.

On motion of Mr. Wenner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Monrovia and Hyattstowri Turn-
pike Company.

On motion by Mr. Poteet,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore and Harford county
delegations to introduce a bill requiring the Commissioners of
Baltimore and Harford counties to build a bridge over the
Little Gunpowder River.

On motion of Mr. Herbert,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to amend the 15 th section of the 3d Article of
the Constitution.

The following bills, which had passed both branches, were
this day submitted to His Excellency the Governor for his
approval:

An Act to repeal section 25 of Article 5 of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled " Appeals," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

An Act to authorize and empower the Commissioners of
