So much and such parts thereof as relate to the Depart-
ment of Agriculture and Labor, be referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.

So much and such parts thereof as refer to the Inspection
and Repairs of Public Buildings, and the Maryland Peniten-
tiary, and the Governor's Mansion, be referred to the Com-
mittee on Public Buildings.

So much and such parts thereof as relate to the Oysters
of Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, he referred to the
Special Committee already appointed on that subject.

So much and such parts thereof as relate to the Public
Works and Internal Improvements of the State, to the Com -
mittee on Internal Improvements.

That so much and such parts thereof as relate to the
Colored Population, be referred to the Committee on Colored
Population.

Which was read and adopted.

The bill entitled an Act to repsal Section 92 of Article 17,
of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county, and Section
1, 92 and 2 of the Act of 1867, chapter 421, relating to
Justices of the Peace and Constables, in the aforesaid county.

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed March 10, 1862, chapter 347,
entitled an Act to repeal section 30 of Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Montgomery county, relating to the
Courts of said county, and to enact substitute therefor ;

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled an act to require the Clerk of the Circuit
court for Washington county to prepare and make a general
index to the Land Records of Washington county, and to
transcribe one of the equity dockets of said court,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
