Academy, in Cecil county, the annual donation of five hun-
dred dollars out of the School Fund of said county,

The bill entitled an Act, to cause to be transcribed a cer-
tain record book of wills, to provide for making a general
index to wills and for binding the record books in the office
of the Register of Wills for Kent county,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to
add a new section to Article 12 of the Code of Local Laws
for Harford county, entitled Schools, relating to the Harford
County Academy, and to the Cokesbury or Abingdon Acad-
emy, and re-enact the same with an amendment restoring the-
State donation to the Harford County Academy,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a

third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate a company to build a turnpike road from the
Georgetown Turnpike to the public road leading from
Adamstown to Greenfield Mills, passed by the General As-
sembly of Maryland at its January session, in the year 1860,
chapter 323,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The hill entitled a supplement to the Act entitled an Act to
incorporate a company to build a Turnpike Road from Lib-
ertytown, Frederick county, through Johnsville to Pipe
Creek, passed January session, 1864, chapter 338,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Blake submitted the following amendment:

Section 6. Be it enacted, That this company shall not be
authorized to charge tolls on any vehicle passing over this
road for the purpose of going to or from a funeral.

Which was adopted.
