The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore
Citizens' Rifle Target Shooting Company.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Morse submitted the following amendment:

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the members of said corpo-
ration shall have power to exercise in target or other shoot-
ing, at any time they may deem proper, except on the Sab-
bath day, commonly called Sunday ; and that all laws and
parts of laws, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

Which was adopted.
The bill as amended,

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being

A bill entitled an Act to legalize a supplement to the
Maryland Code, containing the Acts of the General Assembly
passed at the sessions of 1861, 1861 and '62, 1864, 1865,
1866 and 1867, arranged in Articles and sections, to corres-
pond with the Code, by Lewis Mayer, and to appropriate a
sum of money to purchase copies of the same, and to regulate
their distribution.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
