520 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 26,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal a proviso in the 4th
section of the Act passed at January session, 1857, chapter
150, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Kent County
Rail Road Company, to secure the completion of said road by
the issuing of additional bonds of the Company, and to pro-
vide for the payment of the State's subscription for stock in
said Company, to waive the State's lien relating to the State's
payment of one-fourth of her subscription for stock in one
year, and to re-enact the said section as amended.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

Senate bill entitled a supplement to the Act passed at Jan-
uary session, 1866, chapter 52, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Dorchester and Delaware Rail Road Company, and to
direct the payment to the said company of the sum of money
pledged by the Act passed at January session, 1860, chapter
303, to works of internal improvement in Dorchester county.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Montague, from a select committee, reported favor-
ably upon the

Senate bill entitled an Act to release to Wm. Watson all
the right and interest of the State of Maryland in and to the
personal estate of Michael M. Mitchell, late of Baltimore
county, deceased.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Rose, Chairman of a select committee, reported favor-
ably upon the

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and
8, of Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws for Talbot
county, entitled " Almshouse," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Boyer, Chairman of a select committee, reported fa-
vorably

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Public Local Laws,
title "Kent county," sub-title "Roads," Article 14, by add-
ing a section thereto.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Rohrer, Chairman of a select committee, reported
