citizens of Carroll and Howard counties, praying the passage
of a law creating an additional Tobacco Inspector, familiar
with the tobacco grown in the Western counties of this State.

Mr. Syester presented the petition of B. F. Middlekauff,
and 70 other citizens of Washington county, against repeal-
ing the law exempting funerals from the payment of tolls on
turnpikes heretofore chartered in this State.

Also, the petition of Benj. F. Fiery, and 38 other citizens
of Washington county, against repealing the Act exempting
funerals from the payment of tolls on turnpikes in this State.
