Ordered, That the special committee on fixing the time of
labor in the Cotton Factories of the State, have authority to
send for persons and papers.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Wentz submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Committee on Education be instructs
to provide for the continuance in their positions of the officer
and teachers of the system, as now constituted, so as to keep
open the schools of the State until the 30th day of June
1868, and to give the officers of the present system time to
complete and send in their accounts.

Which was read.

Mr. Legg moved that the order be laid on the table.
