The bill entitled an Act to extend the time to the County
Commissioners of Allegany County, for hearing appeals
under the Act of 1866, chapter 157,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Chapman submitted the following amendment:

In line 2, sec. 1, strike out the words "Allegany County,"

and insert "The several Counties of this State, and to the
Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore City."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Chapman submitted the following amendment:

In line 5, strike out the word "Allegany," and in line 6,
the word "County," and insert the words "The several
Counties of this State and the Appeal Tax Court of Balti-
more City."

In line 14, insert after the word "Commissioners," the
words "Of the several Counties of this State, or the Appeal
fax Court of Baltimore City."

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended was then read a second time, and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading, and,

On motion of Mr. Legg,
Ordered to be printed.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of a select committee,
the rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 55 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Worcester County, relating to the
number of Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to re-
enact the same, with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 40 and 41 of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Worcester County, and to re-
enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a

Third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
commissioners of Washington and Allegany counties, to levy
a sum of money upon the taxable property within their re-

spective counties sufficient to pay the several clerks of the
registers of voters within the said counties,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
