Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 384.

AN ACT to repeal Section eleven of Article seven
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Car-
roll County," sub-title "County Commission-
ers," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section eleven of Article seven
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Carroll
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments, so as to read as follows :

Repealed and
re-enacted.

11. The said Commissioners shall appoint their
clerk and allow him such salary for his services as
they shall deem proper, not exceeding six hundred
dollars per annum.

Appointment,
salary, &c.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
