CHAPTER 357.
|
 
|
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article
fifty-seven of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, concerning Limitation of Actions.
|
Right to
bring suit.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in all actions to be hereafter
brought, where a party has a cause of action of
which he has been kept in ignorance by the fraud
of the adverse party, the right to bring suit shall
be deemed to have first accrued at the time at
which such fraud shall or with usual and ordinary
diligence might have been known or discovered.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 358.
AN ACT to provide for the repairs of. the Public
Roads of Howard county.
|
Power to
sub-divide.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Howard county shall have power to sub-divide each
or any of the election districts of said county into
road districts, and to appoint a Supervisor for each
of the said road districts.

Compelled .to
labor.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all able bodied
male residents of said county, who have resided
thirty days in said road district, of the age of twen-
ty-one and upwards, who do not reside within the
limits of an incorporated town, shall be compelled
to labor at least one day in every year, on the pub-
lic roads in the road district in which they reside;
and the Road Supervisors, whenever the public
roads shall need repairs, shall summons all such
persons in his district to make such repairs, by
