is appointed ; the said Inspector shall be appointed by the Superintendent of Labor and Agriculture, and shall give his bond in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars, with security or securities to be approved by said Superintendent, which bond shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals.
Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the day of its passage. Approved March 30, 1868.	In force.
CHAPTER 296. AN ACT to amend an Act entitled " An Act to amend the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty, Chapter three hundred and three, entitled 'An Act to carry into effect the eighth Sec- tion of the Act entitled An Act for the pro- motion of Internal Improvements/ passed at the December Session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, Chapter three hundred and ninety- five, by applying the unappropriated part of the appropriation made by said Act for the purposes of Internal Improvements in Worcester County to the construction of the Worcester Railroad, and the Wicomico and Pocomoke Railroad"
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That so much of the said Act passed on the eighteenth day of March, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, as authorizes the Treasurer of the State, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay to the Worcester Railroad Company thirty- five thousand dollars upon the proviso that the same shall be expended, pro rata, on each mile of said road between the town of Berlin and the Vir- ginia State line, be and the same is hereby re- pealed, and the following enacted in lieu thereof:	Repealed and re-enacted.
