Was read a second time, and,

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,
Recommitted to the Committee on Corporations.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate Antietam Lodge
No. 4, Maryland, of the Independent Order Good Templars,
of Sharpsburg, Washington county,

Being upon a second reading, was,

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,
Recommitted to the Committee on Corporations.

The bill entitled an Act for the incorporation of Kindred
Lodge, No. 27, of Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Being upon a second reading, was,

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,
Recommitted to the Committee on Corporations.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Dem-
ocratic Association,

Being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday next, 11th of
February.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap-
ter 385, passed March 20th. 1867, entitled an Act to provide
for the payment of Pensions to Maryland soldiers of the
war of 1812. and widows of deceased soldiers of 1812,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

The vote by which the bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick to
subscribe to the capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsyl-
vania Line Rail Road Company, and to endorse the bonds of
said company, was rejected on Tuesday last,

Was reconsidered.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

The bill was re-committed to the select committee which
reported the bill.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Monumental
Savings Institution,
