Mr. Legg submitted the following amendment: That the words "State Librarian" be stricken out where- Which was rejected. The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be On motion of Mr. Brown, The bill was then referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. The bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money to be expended in removing the remains of the Confederate dead Being upon a second reading, Mr. Wenncr submitted the following amendment: Sec. 1, line 7, insert after the word "Mountain," the word Which was adopted. Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter Was read a second time. Mr. Brown moved to amend the bill by striking out the 2d section. The amendment was rejected. The said bill was then ordered to be engrossed for a third The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Opake Zinc |
