CHAPTER 270.
AN ACT to refund to James Ensor of Baltimore
City the sum of fifty dollars erroneously paid
into the Treasury of State.
|

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That on the warrant of the Comp-
troller the Treasurer is hereby directed to pay to
the order of James Ensor, of Baltimore city, the
sum of fifty dollars paid erroneously into the
Treasury of the State, and which has been recom-
mended under the hand of the Governor of the
State.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.
AN ACT to repeal Section sixty-nine of Article
one of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Allegany County," sub-title "Fences," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section sixty-nine of Article
one, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany
County, sub-title " Fences," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as follows :

pound.
|
Sec. 69. It shall not be lawful for any person in
Allegany County to impound any horned or black
cattle, sheep or hogs, unless the same shall be
found trespassing within an enclosure, enclosed by
a good and substantial fence at least four and a
half feet. high.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
