	CHAPTER 240.
	AN ACT to repeal Chapter One hundred and fifty-six, passed January Session, eighteen hun- dred and sixty-seven, entitled an "Act to repeal Sections five and eight of an Act passed Janu- ary Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, Chapter fifteen," entitled an "Act to aid and encourage enlistments into the Maryland Regi- ments, in the service of the United States," and also to repeal Sections Four and Five of an Act passed January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, Chapter Thirty-three, entitled au "Act to provide Bounty for Soldiers entering the service of the United States, to fill the quo- tas of Maryland, under the call of the Presi- dent of the United States, of December, eight- een hundred and sixty-four, and under future calls."
Repealed.	SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Act passed January Ses- sion, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, Chapter one hundred and fifty-six, entitled an "Act to repeal Sections Five and Eight of an Act passed January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, Chapter Fifteen," entitled an "Act to aid and en- courage enlistments into the Maryland Regiments in the service of the United. States ;" and also to repeal Sections Four and Five of the Act passed January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, Chapter thirty-three, entitled an "Act to provide Bounty for Soldiers entering the service of the United States, to fill the quotas of Maryland, un- der the call of the President of the United States, of December nineteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and under future calls," be, and the same is hereby repealed.
In force.	Sec. 2. And; be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved, March 28, 1868.
