opened for a capital of twelve thousand dollars,
in shares of twenty dollars each, and that David
Kemp, Nathan O. Neighbors, Theodore C. Chultz,
Gideon Bantz, William A. Feage, John Sifford,
William T. Preston, Cornelius A. Statey and
Samuel Wolf be, aad they are hereby appointed
Commissioners to receive subscriptions at the City
Hall, Frederick, and that books for receiving sub-
scriptions of stock shall be opened at the place
named on the first Monday of May next, under
the direction of the said Commission named, or any
two of them, in the manner prescribed by the orig-
inal Act to which this is a supplement.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That when the amount
of stock required to organize said corporation shall
be subscribed, that the stockholders, upon due no-
tice being given by the Commissioners, or a ma-
jority of them, shall meet and organize the Com-
pany according to the provisions of the original
Act.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage ; the Gen-
eral Assembly reserves the right to alter, annul or
repeal this Act at pleasure.

Article (30) thirty of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments,"
sub-title, " Larceny," and to re-enact the same
with an amendment.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section one hundred of Article
thirty, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Larceny,"
be, and the same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted
to read as follows :
