port upon any railroad or railroads which the said
Company may construct under the provisions of
this Act ; and also upon any railroad or railroads
which it may purchase as hereinbefore authorized,
all persons and property at the same rates of toll
and prices of transportation as the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company, are, or shall be by law
authorized to charge and receive.

Banking pro-
hibited.

Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed to give to the said
Company banking privileges ; and this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

Reservation.

Sec. S. And be it enacted. That the General As-
sembly reserves the right to alter or repeal the
same at pleasure.

CHAPTER 187.

AN ACT to incorporate the Broadway and Locust
Point Steam Ferry Company of Maryland, and
to grant, on certain conditions, the right to use
the wharf known as "the County Wharf."

Incorporation

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That James Brown, Andrew Brown,
Frederick Wehr, Timothy Ryan, R. B. Larmour,
John E. Berry, William Moody, W. Emmet
Banks, J. W. Davis and Thomas Rafferty, of
Baltimore City, their successors, associates and
assigns, be, and they are hereby created a body
corporate and politic, by the name and style of
the Broadway and Locust Point Steam Ferry
Company of Maryland, and by that name may
have succession, and shall be able and capable in
law to sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded,
answer and be answered in any Court of law or
equity, and to make and use a common seal, and
to ordain and establish such by-laws and regu-
