LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

game to hold upon trust, to apply the same or the
interest or increase thereof according as may be
prescribed by the devisor or donor, for the use and
benefit of the Protestant Episcopal Theological
Seminary and High School in Virginia, a Corpo-
ration incorporated by the State of Virginia, or in
furtherance of any of the objects of the said last
mentioned Corporation, or of the Seminary under
its charge, in such manner as the donor may desig-
nate, or upon trust for such other charitable, reli-
gious or beneficent purposes or uses connected with
the Protestant Episcopal Church in America, or
with said Parish or edifices, glebe or parishioners
thereof, as the donor may direct.

Make invest-
ment.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Vestry of
Saint Thomas' Parish aforesaid, and their succes-
sors, may from time to time make such investment
and re-investment within the State of Maryland of
any moneys received under the first Section of this
Act, as a majority of the members thereof for the
time being may determine upon, except in so far as
their discretion in this respect may be controlled
by the provisions of the gift.

In force.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the time of its passage.

CHAPTER 163.

AN ACT to Incorporate the Union Coal, Iron,
Lumber and Manufacturing Company of Alle-
gany County.

Incorporation

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Curtin M. Graham, William
Armstrong and John B. Wright, and such other
persons as may become associated with them, in
manner as in hereinafter provided, be and they are
hereby made and constituted a body politic and
