CHAPTER 151. An Act supplementary to an Act passed January Session eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter fifty-five, entitled "An Act to Incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Road Company in Carroll County," and to amend the title of said Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter fifty-five, and to authorize the County Commissioners of Frederick County to subscribe to the capital stock of said Company.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Road Company in Carroll County be and they are hereby authorized and impowered to ex- tend their road from the division line of Carroll and Federick Counties to Libertytown in Frederick County, or to intersect the Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike road at some point between New Windsor, in Carroll County, and the said Liber- tytown in Frederick County, and all the rights, franchises and powers given and granted to the said Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Road Com- pany by and in the original Act to which this is a supplement, shall be and they are hereby ex- tended to them in the further extending their road. Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com- missioners of Frederick County be and they are hereby authorized to subscribe to the capital stock of said Company not to exceed one hundred shares. When the fifty-fourth Section of Article three of the Constitution shall have been complied with, and the said Company is hereby further authorized to increase their capital stock to the sum of sixty thousand dollars. Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Road Company incorporated by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter fifty-five, shall hereafter be styled the "Baltimore, Carroll and Liberty Turnpike Road Company." Provided that this Company shall not be entitled to charge tolls on any vehicles	Change name.
