CHAPTER 121.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Baltimore
and Hampden Passenger Bail road Company,
passed at January Session, eighteen hundred
and sixty-five, Chapter thirty-two.

Time extended
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the time for the completion of
the Baltimore and Hampden Passenger Railroad
be and the same is hereby extended until the first
day of January, eighteen hundred and seventy-
eight ; provided, that the President and Directors
of said Company, together with Messrs. Charles
M. Dougherty, Robert Lehr, W. W. Wyeth, Chas.
E. Dickey, H. W. Rogers, C. C. Cox, A. G. Pracht,
S. G. Haad, T. D. Anderson, James Hazlett, Jos.
Stine, L. J. Cox and Alexander Gaddess, shall

open the books of subscription anew after ten days
notice in two or more papers in the city of Balti-
more, and one in Baltimore County, and shall
keep them open at two or more places in the city
of Baltimore and one at Woodberry in Baltimore
County, during the usual banking hours, from
Tuesday the seventh day of April next, to Tuesday
the twenty-third of April, inclusive, and shall
receive all subscriptions to the capital stock of
said Company which shall be tendered according
to the terms and under the limitations of the
charter.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage,
and the General Assembly reserves the right to
alter, amend or repeal this Act at pleasure.
