Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee

on Corporations.

Mr. Corbin (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol-
lowing order :

Ordered, That Thos. A. J. Holloway have leave of absence

five days from this date.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Coad (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol-
lowing order :
Ordered, That Mr. Bond, of Calvert, have leave of absence

for one week to visit his family.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Percy, Chairman of a select committee (the rules being

suspended) reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to
amend the 10th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Dorchester county, by adding thereto the following sections
relating to the jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace for said
county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Herbert moved that the House do now adjourn until
to-morrow, at 12 o'clock, noon.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved to adjourn until to-
morrow, at 11 o'clock, A. M.

The question recurring on the motion submitted by Mr.

Herbert,

it was decided in the affirmative, and

The House, at 2 3/4 o'clock, P. M., adjourned until to-mor-
row 12 o'clock, M.
