The Secretary of the Senate delivered

A bill entitled an Act to secure the completion of the
Worcester Rail Road.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Internal Improvements.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-

sioners of Dorchester county to sell and convey the Alms-

house property of said county, and invest so much of the
proceeds thereof as may be necessary, in the building or
purchasing another Almshouse in said county.
