CHAPTER 51.
|
|
|
AN ACT to refund to Lewis Tydings and Henry
Tydings, of Anne Arundel County, certain sums
of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.
|
|
Appropria-
tion.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and lie is
hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay to Henry Tydings the sum of
twenty-one dollars and fifty cents, and to Lewis
Tydings the sum of four dollars and eighty cents,
to reimburse them for State taxes paid in error,
the same having been certified to by the officers of
the Treasury Department.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 52.
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal the forty-fifth Section of Ar-
ticle twenty-nine of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled " Circuit Courts for the Coun-
ties," and substitute the following Section in
lieu thereof:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the forty-filth Section of Article
twenty-nine of the Code of Public Genera! Laws,
entitled " Circuit Courts fort the Comities," be and
the same is hereby repealed, and the following be
substituted in lieu thereof:

That each of the Circuit Judges of the counties,
or Judicial Circuits, as now laid off, constituted
and designated by the present Constitution, may
make orders at common law at any place in
their Circuit, to take effect in any part of their
