Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Fayette Street City Pas-
senger Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. Percy,
(The rules being suspended,)

Leave was granted to the Dorchester Delegation to intro-
duce a bill to add additional section to Article 10 of Public
Local Laws of Dorchester county.

Mr. Slingluff, (the rules being suspended,) presented the
petition of Dr. John T. Councilman, Elijah Gore, and 31
other citizens of Baltimore county praying the continuance of
the present school system till July 15, 1868.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion ,

On motion of Mr. Montague,
(The rules being suspended,)

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Boundary Avenue Horse
Railway Company.

Mr. Keech, Chairman of the Committee on Pensions,
(The rules being suspended,)

Reported favorably a Bill entitled an Act to repeal the
Act of 1867, chapter 385, passed March 20th, 1867, entitled
an Act to provide for the payment of pensions to Maryland
soldiers of the war of 1812, and widows of deceased soldiers
of 1812.

Which was read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Wes-
ternport, Allegany county, Maryland.

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
