House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 28 of Article 16 of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's county, en- titled Bladensburg, and to re-enact the same, so as to read as follows, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Maddox, Browne, Miller, Clarke, Parker, of Calvert, Carroll, Spates, Denson, Snyder, Earle, Smith, Henkle, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—17. Lee, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled an Act to add to the 10th section of Article 56 of the Code of Public General Laws a sub-section requiring a license to enable any person to act as a real estate broker, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Maddox, Browne, Malone, Brewer, Parker, of Calvert, Clarke, Spates, Carroll, Snyder, Earle, Smith, Henkle, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—17. Lee, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the collection of Taxes in Baltimore county, with proposed amendments. Amend by striking out sections 66 and 67, and substitute the following: And be it enacted, That no provision of this law shall take effect until the first Tuesday of May, in the year 1869. |
