House bill entitled an Act making appropriations for the support of the Government, for the year ending the first day of January eighteen hundred and seventy, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Malone, Brewer, Spates, Clarke, Smith, Earle, Walsh, Grove, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported favorably House bill entitled an additional supplement to the Act entitled an Act for founding an Academy at Hagerstown, in Washington county. Which was read the second time. And on his motion the rules were suspended by the fol- lowing vote: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Spates, Earle, Smith, Grove, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None. The bill passed by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE.
