Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, reported unfavorably House bill entitled an Act entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled a further supplement to an Act to incorporate com- panies to make several turnpike roads through Baltimore county, and for other purposes, passed 20th day of March, 1865, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which report was adopted, and The bill returned to the House of Delegates. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Coal Company of Allegany county. Which was read the second time, and. On motion by Mr. Spates, The rules were suspended by the following vote: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Miller, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Spates, Earle, Smith, Fields, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—17. Hyland, NEGATIVE—None. The bill passed by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Grove, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Miller, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Spates, Earle, Walsh, Fields, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. And returned to the House of Delegates. |
