Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to appropriate an additional sum of money for the more speedy publication of volumes 25, 26, and 27, Maryland Reports. Which was read the second time. Also, reported unfavorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend, and re-enact sub-section 1, of an Act passed January, 1865, entitled an Act to add an Article to the Code of Public General Laws, in relation to the publication of laws, so as to provide for the publication of the laws in the German language in Baltimore city. Which report was rejected, and. the bill wan read a second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claims of Cushings & Medairy, J. W. Bond & Co., and several other firms and individuals. Which was read the second time, and, On motion by Mr. Earle, The rules were suspended by the following vote: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Lee, Browne, Maddox, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Denson, Spates, Earle, Smith, Fields, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—19. Kimmel, NEGATIVE—Mr. Biggs—1.
