1868.] OF THE SENATE. 723 SATURDAY, March 28,1868. The Senate met pursuant to adjournment. Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Hammond. Present at roll call Messrs. President, Browne, Biggs, Brewer, Clarke, Carroll, Denson, Earle, Fields, Henkle, Hyland, Hammond, Lee, Maddox, Miller, Malone, Parker, of Calvert, Spates, Smith, Walsh, Welch—20. House bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the Act of January session, 1867, chapter 304, entitled an Act to incor- porate the Central Maryland Railroad Company, passed on the 18th day of March, 1867, Was read the third time, and passed yeas and nays. AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Biggs, Miller, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Parker, of Calvert, Carroll, Spates, Denson, Smith, Earle, Walsh, Fields, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported unfa- vorably House bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Faculty of Physic of the University of Maryland.
