Also, The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the North Branch Lumber and Boom Company. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amendments:" Section 5. strike out the word "exclusive." Section 10, line 2, strike out the word "or," and insert after the words "or repeal." Which were read and concurred in. Said bill as amended was then passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. And delivered the following House bills : A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis- sioners of Dorchester county, to levy a sum of money on the taxable property of said county, to refund to the Executors of Thomas Woolford, deceased, taxes paid in error. Which was read a first time and referred to the Senators from Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Frederick counties. |
