EVENING SESSION.

THURSDAY, March 26,1868.
At 8 P.M. the Senate met, pursuant to adjournment.
Present at roll call:

Messrs. President, Browne, Biggs, Brewer, Clarke, Earle,
Fields, Hyland, Hammond, Kimmel, Lee, Maddox, Miller,
Spates, Smith—15.

Mr. Hyland, from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Som-
erset county," so as to provide the manner and time for the
appointment and the terms of office of the Supervisors of Roads
in said county.

Which was read a second time.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of the Act of
1868, chapter 39, entitled an Act to authorize the Delaware
Rail Road Company, to extend a Branch Rail Road across the
State line into Kent county, Md., and to re-enact the same
with amendments,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Henkle,
Browne, Hyland,
Biggs, Hammond,
Brewer, Kimmel,
Clarke, Lee,
Carroll, Parker, of Calvert,
Denson, Spates,
Earle, Smith,
Fields, Welch—18.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Lee, from the Committee on the Militia, reported

The House General Militia bill, including the Militia bill
for Baltimore city.

Which was read the second time.

On motion by Mr Denson, it was
