Mr. Clarke offered the following amendment : Page 19, section 11, line 2, strike out the word "one," and insert the word all. Which was adopted. Mr. Kimmel offered the following amendment : Page 19, chapter 5, line 5, strike out all after "be" to the end of the section, and insert, determined, and forward a copy to the Principal of the State Normal School. Which was adopted. Mr. Kimmel offered the following amendments : Page 19, chapter 6, section I, line 1, strike out "three," and insert two. Page 20, line 23, section 1, strike out all after the word "same" to the word "education," inclusive, in the 25th, line. Which were adopted. Mr. Henkle offered the following amendment : Page 19, section 1, strike out from "deciding," in 2d line, to "such," in 3d line. Which was adopted. Mr. Henkle offered the following amendments : Page 19, section 1I, strikeout all after "vote," in 7th line, to "but," in 31st line. In line 5, after "May," insert, at 3 o'clock P. M. Which were adopted. Mr. Clarke offered the following amendment : Page 21, chapter 7, section 2, line 7, after the word "for," insert, provided that when repairs are to be paid for out of a county school tax, the amount to be expended for said repairs shall be determined by the Board of School Commissioners before the repairs are made. Which was adopted. Mr. Henkle offered the following amendments : Page 21, section 2, line 7, strike out "district or ;" strike out all after "year," in 11th line, and insert, and the Coun- ty Commissioners shall provide by general county taxation for school houses in the several districts, to be paid for out of the school fund of the county. |
