840 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 24, Section 10, line 3, after the word "days," insert, in the city of Baltimore, Baltimore county, and Allegany county, and two days in the remaining counties of the State. Section 10, line 11, strike out the words " having the largest circulation." Which were adopted. Mr. Snyder offered the following amendment : Section 10, by striking out the word " precinct " where it occurs in the 13th line, and insert in lieu thereof the word ward. Which was adopted. Mr. Miller offered the following amendment: Strike out the words " having the largest circulation " in the 18th line and 12th section. Which was adopted. Mr Clarke offered the following amendment : Section 12, line 5, after the word "city," insert, and for Baltimore county where districts are divided into precincts, otherwise by districts. Which was adopted. Mr. Maddox offered the following amendment : Section 12, line 2, after the word "registration" insert, of Baltimore city, Baltimore and Allegany counties, and of the two days on which the said officers of registration in the re- maining counties in the State. Section 12, line 18, after the word "published," insert, for two successive weeks. Which were adopted. Mr. Smith offered the following : Amend section 12, by striking out in line 17, '''and one newspaper in every county in which a newspaper is pub- lished." Which was adopted. Mr. Miller offered the following : Insert the words of the several counties after the word " wills," in the first line of 18th section. Which was adopted.
