Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the suffering people of the South, through the agency of the Ladies' Southern Industrial Association and Ladies' Southern Relief Association, of Baltimore city, Was taken up, and Mr. Earle offered the following amendment : Amend by inserting first name, Mrs. Benjamin C. Howard. Which was adopted. The bill as amended was then passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
