620 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23, Senate bill entitled an Act to amend sections 146 and 147 of the 81st Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relat- ing to the payment of public moneys by clerks and Registers of Wills, With proposed amendment. Section 47, line 2, strike out the word " ten" and insert the word " thirty." Which was adopted, And the bill as amended was then passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Kimmel, Brewer, Lee, Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Denson, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Grove, Smith—16. NEGATIVE—Mr. Maddox—1. Also, returned Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the 7th section of the 18th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, providing for the payment of public moneys by clerks of courts, With proposed amendments. Section 7, line 3, strikeout the word " ten," and insert the word " thirty." Which was adopted, and The bill as amended was passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
