The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered

House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
26th Article, of the Code of Public General Laws of this
State, entitled Corporations, sub-title Religious Corporations.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the 21st section of Ar-
ticle 24, of the Code of Public General Laws, title Convey-
ancing, sub-title Mortgages, by adding thereto and re-enact-
ing as follows.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the
County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford counties to
levy a sum of money for the construction of a bridge over
the Little Gunpowder River, near Emory's Ford.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena-
tors from Baltimore, Cecil, and Harford counties.

The committee having made a favorable report,
The rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows:

AFFIMRATIVE.

Biggs, Lee,
