President, Hyland, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Parker, of Calvert, Carroll, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Grove, Smith, Henkle, Walsh—18. NEGATIVE—None. And Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Central Goal Mining and Manufac- turing Company, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Henkle, from the Committee on Internal Improve- ments, reported favorably House bill entitled an act to repeal certain portions of the Act of 1860, chapter 303 of the General Assembly of Maryland relating to the Columbia and Port Deposit Railroad Company. Which was read the second time. House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the county Commissioners of Cecil and Kent counties to build a bridge over Sassafras river, from Fredericktown in Cecil county to Georgetown in Kent county, and to levy a sum of money for the same, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Parker, of Calvert, Carroll, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Grove, Smith, Henkle, Walsh—18. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Miller from the Committee on Finance, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the collectors of city and county taxes from applying money collected by them for city and county purposes to the payment of State taxes, |
