The bill increasing Sheriffs' fees,
Was lost.

On motion by Mr. Kimmel,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report a
bill to appropriate a sum of money for the benefit of the
Children's Aid Society of Baltimore.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Public Buildings
to introduce a bill to authorize the Commissioners of the In-
sane Hospital at Catonsville to receive inebriates as patients
until the Inebriate Hospital proper shall be completed.

On motion by Mr. Fields,
The Senate adjourned until to-night, at 8 o'clock.
